KING kids killing it in Canada
Date: 6 Oct 2026
There was a KING OF THE NORTH quinella in $100,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots Final this week in Canada. The boys have done dad proud at Woodbine with two-year-old gelding Graceful King trotting a remarkable TR1:54.9 to take out the final, followed in closely by leg winner, King Of The South.
A day earlier, it was his leading money earner, filly Major Contender (pic, now with over $255,000 in stakes) who claimed a $100,000 leg of the Ontario Sires Stakes Gold series - her third at Woodbine.
