LOT 60 is a filly by Alabar Farms' Rock N Roll Heaven from Captaintreacherous daughter, Vegas Diamond, consigned by Lauriston Bloodstock. Vegas Diamond is out of Yankee Showgirl, a Bettors Delight sister to Poster Boy ($803,000), Yankee Rockstar ($329,000), Born To Rocknroll ($300,000) and three other winners. She herself is a full sister to GR1 winner School Captain and Tennessea Waltz, and her first foal We Dealin Diamonds (Always B Miki) took a two-year-old win in 2024. It's hard to find a better family than this - a maternal grandmother who has been Australian and Victorian Broodmare of the Year in Aston Villa USA (Artsplace) and a sire whose Australian progeny have earnt more than $41m, averaging $63,000 each!
LOT 42 is a filly by Cobbitty Equine Farm's King Of Swing from Art Major mare, Queen of Pop, consigned by Lauriston Bloodstock. Queen of Pop is a proven producer with her oldest two foals having secured Group 1 wins - Just Hope ($367,000) took the Bathurst Gold Tiara, the NSW Oaks and Australian Gold Bullion while Chart Topper ($132,000) lays claim to a Bathurst Gold Crown and the Listed Canola Cup.Queen of Pop is out of $225,000 earning mare Top Tempo (In the Pocket), making her a sister to Speak No Evil ($354,000) and Musical Delight ($289,000), the dam of Ripp (GR1, $287,000) and Sure Thing Captain (GR2, $225,000).This is a high-earning family and with just two generations on her pedigree page, this filly represents the best of the best for both the race track and a future career in the breeding barn.
LOT 39 is a filly by Woodlands Stud NZ's American Ideal from Western Terror mare, Pistol Abbey, consigned by Lauriston Bloodstock. Pistol Abbey's first foal, Silver Pistol, was a two-year-old winner last season - hardly surprising given her outstanding race record. Securing $253,000 in her career, she annexed the GR1 Queen of the Pacific as well as a clean sweep of the 4YO Mares Vicbred Super Series (GR1). Her own dam, Art Princess, was a $179,000 winner and has had two other winning progeny from three to the races including Yourshoutrocky ($52,000) and three-year-old winner Benevolence. This filly's sire hardly needs introduction - American Ideal's Australian progeny have collectively earnt more than $30m and after his demise last season, she represents one of the last opportunities to secure his very special bloodline which has already produced broodmares daughters with 106 winners for over$6m in stakes in Australia.
LOT 30 is a filly by Cobbitty Equine Farm's Huntsville from Artsplace mare, National Gallery, consigned by Lauriston Bloodstock. National Gallery is one of the most established broodmares in Australia, having produced seven horses to race - all of whom have recorded wins. She has a Somebeachsomewhere two-year-old named and ready to go, and this Huntsville filly is her latest edition. Of this filly's siblings, Honolua Bay ($887,000) is the standout, the gelding having won multiple high end races including the grand circuit AG Hunter Cup. Rocknroll Icon ($210,000), Somethin Bout Eily ($124,000) and Mach Up ($114,000) have all topped the magic hundred thousand stakes mark. The family also includes the likes of GROUP 1 winner Irish Black Label ($121,000) and Abouttime ($51,000). By Huntsville, this filly is eligible for Vicbred, Bathurst Gold Crown, NSW Breeders Challenge and the Cobbity Equine Classic.
LOT 27 is a colt by Cobbitty Equine Farm's Huntsville from Bettors Delight mare, Musical Delight, consigned by Lauriston Bloodstock. Only two generations on his pedigree page! This colt is a half-brother to stars Ripp (GR1, $287,000), Sure Thing Captain (GR2, $225,000), Young Rooster ($219,000) and Beach Music ($153,000) - all from the outstanding GR3 winning mare Musical Delight ($248,000). The money flows in this family, with his dam a sister to Speak No Evil (GR1, $354,000) and Queen of Pop ($204,000), themselves outstanding broodmares with progeny including Just Hope ($367,000) and Chart Topper ($132,000), and all out of the In The Pocket mare Top Tempo ($225,000).By Huntsville, this colt is eligible for Vicbred, Bathurst Gold Crown, NSW Breeders Challenge and the Cobbitty Equine Classic.
