What a week for POSTER BOY! A new three-year-old winners in
Famous Crimes going 1:55 at Melton and Takao winning the Knight Memorial by 13m
in a Kilmore double for the sire after The Last Trip ran 1:54.9 earlier on the
card. Rosies Boy took win #5 at Redcliffe, mare Lexy Longstockings was all over
a winner, in by 11m at Bathurst and at Gloucester Park, two-year-old Hez The
Boss made it four wins in a row for over $96,000 in stakes.
PASTOR STEPHEN was represented by new winner Keayang Zia who
stepped up to break her maiden at Geelong.
Excitingly, KING OF THE NORTH fillies were setting Woodbine
Park on fire – Treasure King headed a KING trifecta (with Queen of Bs and
Northern Song) in a $100,000 leg of the Ontario Sire Stakes Gold series in
TR1:55.2 while another $100,000 division was claimed by Major Contender
(TR1:54.4), and Elusive Station took out a $30,000 Ontario Sire Stakes
Grassroots division in TR1:57.3!
CENTURY FARROH was also well represented in Canada, with
Will Farroh taking a leg of the Prospect 2YO C&G series.
