SOHO TRIBECA is smashing it this week, registering four
winners including two new ones after hitting the 40 mark last week. Penrith
produced a race-to-race two-year-old double in dominant colt Soho Charmer who
put in a 16m win to remain unbeaten while Ethans Revenge posted a 5.8m gap to
register his first win. Filly Amira Marie was another new winner, taking the chocolates
at Globe Derby Park, and at Menangle, star Soho The Real Deal went back to
back, recording a PB of 1:54.4 at Menangle to take his earnings past $70,000.
POSTER BOY three-year-old To The Nines, foaled and raised
here on the farm, saluted at Charlton to raise his earnings to more than
$30,000.
At the famous Lexington Sales it was exciting to watch KING
OF THE NORTH’s first kids go through the ring – and wowee, his top lot went for
$425,000!! Overall they averaged more than $90,000 for a total of $1.54m.
