The Llowalong Week - 7 March

Date: 7 Mar 2025

What a week it's been for our boys!

With his first Australian crop finally at the races, HELPISONTHEWAY is already represented with Aldebaran Turner posting a 30m margin on debut at Bendigo this week to become the trotting sire's first Australian winner!

POSTER BOY has played a blinder... Two NSW Derby heat winners in The Highlight Reel (1:54.3) and Silver Pistol (1:55.3) claimed their respective races and we can't wait to see what they'll produce in the big GROUP 1 at Menangle on Saturday night. He was also represented by three-year-olds Ruff Nut (for his third victory, at Penrith), Tenminutes (his second win, at Bathurst) and Its Confidential (1:52.2 by 22m at Wagga for his second consecutive win, and his sixth from eight starts). POSTER BOY also secured a new two-year-old winner when Port Run Machine won on debut at Hobart. His great form at the yearling sales also continued with the Falcons Gem colt at APG Perth bringing $100,000 and the Soho Interceptor colt $85,000.

SOHO TRIBECA star Soho Shakedown claimed the final of the Summer Series at Gloucester Park, his sixth win from seven starts and his third in a row, while at Cranbourne, Golden Tribe notched up another win in 1:55.4.

VOLSTEAD was well represented by mare Prohibited Love (pic) who took a heat of the Trotters Foundation series at Menangle in TR1:55.9, her second consecutive win.

The yearling sales continue this Sunday and we have three sires from our current and former rosters represented at Nutrien Sydney - POSTER BOY with four lots, and SOHO TRIBECA and MEL MARA with one each - be sure to take a look at them, as well as our own draft of outstanding yearlings: https://portal.nutrienequine.com.au/catalogues/92
